Job Description

As a Retail Media Director, you will lead media strategy and team development, reporting to the Senior Retail Media Director. Key responsibilities include managing and growing a client portfolio, driving client conversations, and developing successful Retail Media strategies through cross-disciplinary collaboration.   • Build strong client relationships and understand business goals.
  • Create and deliver large-scale, data-driven strategies.
  • Project manage media plan initiatives.
  • Create client-facing documents with actionable performance insights.
  • Collaborate with Business Development on innovative strategies.
  • Align with leaders for best practices and knowledge-sharing.
  • Mentor and educate junior staff on platform expertise and development.
  • Proficiency in managing large client portfolios.
  • Expertise in retail media advertising, sponsored ads, and DSP platforms.
  • Experience with Vendor & Seller Central, Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).
  • Experience with 3rd party bid management platforms (Skai, Pacvue).
  • Ability to work in a structured way, coping with competing demands.
  • Experience managing media budgets over $1M, hitting KPIs.
  • Full funnel media planning experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the retail industry.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Ability to work EST or similar night shift hours.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Retail Media Director, as a Retail Media Director, you will be an important contributor in leading media strategy and team development. Your main responsibilities will include management and growth of a portfolio of accounts, driving business conversations with clients, and developing successful Retail Media strategies through cross-disciplinary collaboration. Success in this position requires the ability to tell stories from data, the ability to function in a team-focused environment, and the willingness to exemplify Jellyfish's core values (be accountable, be positive, be passionate, be the solution).

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and business growth
  • Build strong client relationships and understand their business goals
  • Create and deliver large-scale, data-driven strategies for clients
  • Project manage initiatives within the media plan
  • Create professional client-facing documents highlighting clear and actionable performance insights
  • Collaborate with Business Development to create innovative strategies for prospective clients
  • Align with leaders across the business to create best practices, develop processes, and promote knowledge-sharing
  • Mentor and educate junior staff to enhance platform expertise, client performance, and individual's ongoing personal development

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in overseeing the management & success of a large client portfolio
  • Demonstrated expertise of retail media advertising sponsored ads and DSP platforms
  • Experience working with Vendor & Seller Central, Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and 3rd party bid management platforms such as Skai or Pacvue
  • Familiarity with demonstrating a structured way of working, with the ability to cope with competing demands
  • Experience managing media budgets over $1 million dollars while hitting/outperforming KPIs
  • Full funnel media planning experience taking into account several ad formats, audiences, and seasonal periods
  • Comprehensive understanding of the retail industry
  • Experience managing a team
  • Advanced Excel (can perform complex functions) /Google Sheets.
  • Previously worked in EST or similar Night shift hours.
