Engineering Manager - Mobile

This Engineering Manager - Mobile role is a unique opportunity to build a global delivery model from the ground up within a fast-growing sports marketing agency. The position involves leading a team of mobile engineers, overseeing the entire development lifecycle, and partnering with product managers to align mobile product vision with business goals. The manager will set technical direction, drive best practices, and foster continuous learning to deliver scalable mobile solutions and impactful fan experiences.

Must Have

• Lead and manage a team of mobile engineers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence
• Oversee the end-to-end mobile app development lifecycle, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
• Partner with product managers to define mobile product vision and align with business and user goals
• Set the technical direction for mobile initiatives, driving best practices in architecture, coding, and process
• Collaborate with design, QA, and backend teams to deliver cohesive, scalable mobile solutions
• Mentor engineers, promote professional growth, and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Stay ahead of emerging mobile technologies and integrate new tools and methods where beneficial
• Contribute to strategic decisions around mobile technology stack and frameworks to enhance performance and capabilities
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role in mobile software development
• Strong technical background in iOS, Android, and cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native)
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills; ability to inspire and nurture talent
• Track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications with exceptional UX and performance
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with a focus on scalability and maintainability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
