Job Description
As an Environment 3D Artist for Albion Online, you will design and create high-quality game environment assets. You will focus on crafting visually compelling environment assets and ensuring they are technically optimized and seamlessly integrated into the game engine. This involves creating stylized mid-poly 3D environment assets, high-quality textures, and collaborating with concept artists, level designers, technical artists, and VFX artists. You'll also maintain and share knowledge of best practices for 3D assets and textures creation, and environment art practices within Unity.
Good To Have:
- Familiarity with stylized or fantasy art styles

Must Have:
- 4+ years of experience in 3D environment art in game development
- Strong artistic understanding of shape, composition, color, and materiality
- Portfolio showcasing stylized environment/3D assets
- Expertise in creating textures for stylized environments and assets
- Proficiency in 3D and 2D content creation tools (Maya, Photoshop)
- Strong technical understanding of Unity and optimization awareness

Your Game
As an Environment 3D Artist for Albion Online, you will design and create high-quality game environment assets that bring the world to life and enhance player immersion. Your role focuses on crafting visually compelling environment assets, ensuring technical optimization, a seamless integration into the game engine and aligning them with the artistic vision and gameplay requirements.
- Create high-quality stylized mid-poly 3D environment assets following the Albion’s artistic vision and technical requirements, using box-modeling techniques that strongly support materiality, color and shape expression
- Create high quality stylized textures for Albion’s environment aspects
- Work especially closely with concept artists, level designers, technical artists and VFX artists to create environment 3D assets and implement them correctly in the game engine
- Maintain, research and share knowledge of best 3D assets and textures creation, and environment art practices
- Create game environments using Unity
Your Talent
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in 3D environment art in game development
- Strong artistic understanding of shape, composition, color and materiality
- Portfolio examples of stylized and story-telling environment / 3D environment assets you have created that showcase your artistic eye
- Expertise in creating textures for stylized environments and modular environment 3D assets
- Strong proficiency in 3D and 2D content creation tools, preferable Maya and Photoshop
- Strong technical understanding of Unity and awareness of performance and optimization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with stylized or fantasy art styles
- Knowledge of mid-poly box-modeling and advanced optimization techniques for multi-platform performance
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on finding creative and efficient solutions
- Passion for creating immersive and memorable game worlds
