Job Description

The Application Consultant collaborates with clients and partners as an expert for application and/or management consolidation projects. They guide the client, offer suitable solutions, and make decisions on the path forward, acting as a link between the client and the IT team. They gather IT needs, provide solutions, and training, with the IT team working based on their input. They facilitate design workshops, presenting proactive options and observations.
Must have:
  • Analyze business requirements, produce solution scope, design detailed solutions, consult and assist in construction and testing activities, documentation.
  • Work with clients and partners on project scope.
  • Participate in design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
  • Provide expertise.
  • Report project activities to the manager and PM.
  • Ensure project documentation matches client needs.
  • Conduct training courses.
  • Understand and analyze business processes to provide user-friendly solutions.
  • Experience with SQL, MDX, and data integration.
  • Experience with Webservices.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role.

Wolters Kluwer Italia, a leading player in the development of software applications for professionals and companies, is looking for a profile for the CONSULTING function of the Legal&Regulatory division:

ERP APPLICATION CONSULTANT

The Application Consultant collaborates with clients and partners as an expert for application and/or management consolidation projects.

In collaboration with the PM, they guide the Client, offer suitable solutions to problems, and make decisions on the path to follow. They act as a link between the client and the IT team. Their work consists of direct contact with the Client to gather their IT needs, provide solutions to problems, and provide training.

The IT team works based on the information provided by them. They facilitate design workshops, presenting options and observations that demonstrate a proactive approach.

Main responsibilities:

  • Analysis of business requirements, production of the solution scope, detailed solution design, consulting and assistance in construction and testing activities, documentation.

Key tasks:

  • Work with clients and partners on the project scope;
  • Participate in design, construction, testing, and commissioning;
  • Provide expertise;
  • Report project activities to the manager and PM;
  • Ensure that project documentation matches client needs;
  • Training courses.

Other aspects of this role include:

  • Collaborating with service and sales managers to develop new business opportunities.
  • Involvement in product development regarding specific product issues, suggesting improvements, participating in reviews of new versions.

Skills:

  • Understanding and analysis of business processes to provide clients with easy-to-use solutions;
  • Experience with SQL, MDX, and data integration;

The role involves national travel.

At least one year of experience is required for the same role.
