This role, an ETCH Process Support Engineer, serves as a technical liaison between Korean customers and the HQ Business Unit. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, optimizing tool performance, providing on-site support, conducting remote process experiments, and collaborating with BU teams to solve complex process challenges and align on strategies.
Must Have:

  • Operate and maintain equipment installed at the customer site.
  • Optimize tool performance to meet customer-specific process and integration requirements.
  • Provide on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
  • Access BU-based tools remotely to conduct process experiments and collect data.
  • Support customer demo preparation by performing pre-validation and feasibility tests.
  • Share findings and recommendations with BU teams to align on process strategies.
  • Apply conceptual and practical expertise to solve complex process challenges.
  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in dry etch.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Process Support Engineer who will serve as a critical technical bridge between Korean customers and the HQ Business Unit. This role involves hands-on equipment operation, remote collaboration with HQ, and proactive customer support to ensure optimal tool performance and fast demo cycles.

  • Serves as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of customer issues and delivery of applicable solutions.
  • Operate and maintain equipment installed at the customer site.
  • Optimize tool performance to meet customer-specific process and integration requirements.
  • Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
  • Access BU-based tools remotely to conduct process experiments and collect data.
  • Support customer demo preparation by performing pre-validation and feasibility tests.
  • Share findings and recommendations with BU teams to align on process strategies.
  • Apply conceptual and practical expertise to solve complex process challenges.

  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in dry etch and basic knowledge of related disciplines
