Job Description

As an Accounts Receivable Executive at London Stock Exchange Group, you will be crucial in ensuring complete and efficient financial operations. Your responsibilities include handling invoicing, resolving discrepancies, maintaining accounting records, and supporting various finance functions. This role offers an engaging environment within financial services, working closely with relevant associates to drive group performance and find innovative solutions.

  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable / Billing teams in a large organisation
  • Experience in Oracle
Must Have:
  • Reporting and analysis of client service usage based on client declarations
  • Set up new business contracts in RMB / Oracle
  • Process new and recurring invoices monthly
  • Resolution of transaction discrepancies
  • Maintenance of the underlying accounting backups/records
  • Resolving internal and external client disputes / queries
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key internal collaborators in Finance Operations, Master Data Team, Sales & Sales Operations
  • Support the wider finance teams where volumes are high
  • Resolve any arising complications to ensure group performance measurements, targets and management reporting submission cutoffs are met
  • Ad hoc reporting and requests from Group and/or local finance as required
  • Assess and challenge current processes to find innovative solutions to problems
  • Pursuing relevant degree or professional qualification

  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, especially Excel
  • Ability to work autonomously and make logical and well informed decisions
  • Responsible approach and sense of partnership and alliance

Accounts Receivable – Billing Operations

Role Profile

As an Accounts Receivable Executive at London Stock Exchange Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the completeness and efficiency of our financial operations. You will be entrusted with handling our invoicing processes, clarifying discrepancies, maintaining accounting records, and supporting various finance functions. This position offers an opportunity to work in an engaging and driven environment at the heart of financial services, working closely with relevant associates!

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will have ownership for:

  • Reporting and analysis of client service usage based on client declarations
  • Set up new business contracts in RMB / Oracle
  • Process new and recurring invoices monthly
  • Resolution of transaction discrepancies
  • Maintenance of the underlying accounting backups/records
  • Resolving internal and external client disputes / queries
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key internal collaborators in Finance Operations, Master Data Team, Sales & Sales Operations
  • Support the wider finance teams where volumes are high.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Pursuing relevant degree or professional qualification
  • Good knowledge on accounting concepts and principles
  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable / Billing teams in a large organisation would be an added advantage.
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages. Especially Excel.
  • The ability to work autonomously / make logical and well informed decisions
  • Responsible approach and sense of partnership and alliance.
  • Capable of good time management in order to meet tight submission dates.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication; a successful candidate will be able to work seamlessly with the US based billing team
  • Detail focused and accuracy orientated.
  • Planning and prioritising according to business needs.
  • Desired: Experience in Oracle
