Job Summary
We’re looking for a forward-thinking QA leader who can elevate our quality practices, accelerate delivery, and keep our engineering team laser focused on building reliable, user-centric products. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on expertise - perfect for someone who loves improving processes as much as uncovering edge cases. You will define and implement modern QA strategies, drive continuous process improvement, lead and mentor QA engineers, oversee automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing, partner with development, product, and DevOps teams, analyze quality metrics, and advocate for the end user.
Must Have
- Proven experience building and scaling QA processes in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Strong background in test automation (framework design, CI/CD integration, tool selection).
- Deep understanding of both functional and non-functional testing: performance, reliability, security, and usability.
- Experience implementing modern QA methodologies (shift-left testing, risk-based testing, exploratory testing, etc.).
- Ability to collaborate across teams and influence decision-making at both technical and process levels.
- Leadership mindset with experience guiding or managing QA teams.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.
- Hands-on experience with scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or JS frameworks).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed system testing challenges.
- Strong communication and a collaborative spirit.
- Proactive problem-solving and a relentless focus on end-user impact.
- Ability to bring clarity to complex situations and drive alignment across teams.
- A sense of ownership and the confidence to modernize processes that need a refresh.

What You’ll Do:
- Define and implement modern QA strategies, standards, and best practices across the engineering organization.
- Drive continuous process improvement to boost delivery speed without sacrificing quality.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers, promoting a culture of ownership, curiosity, and accountability.
- Oversee the design, expansion, and maintenance of automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Partner closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to tighten feedback loops and enhance overall release reliability.
- Analyze quality metrics, identify bottlenecks, and push for systemic improvements in test coverage, automation, and release cycles.
- Advocate for the end user at every stage of development.
