TVH is seeking an External Sales Advisor for the South-West Italy region. This role involves achieving sales targets by planning effective visits and calls to existing customers and new prospects. The advisor will maintain and develop commercial contacts, actively sell products, identify new customer opportunities, and prepare qualitative reports. Close collaboration with other departments is essential to maximize profitable business growth.
Must Have:
  • Maintenance and further development of commercial contacts with existing customers to maximise profitable business growth.
  • Active sales of responsible products to stimulate sales and realize set turnover.
  • Contacting and mapping new customers (suspects and prospects) to further develop the customer portfolio within defined sales objectives.
  • Detecting and informing about opportunities at (new) customers.
  • Preparation and planning of customer visits for efficient time usage and customer database management.
  • Responsibility for the creation of qualitative reports for good follow-up of customer contacts.
  • Updating and maintaining product knowledge to optimize service towards customers.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant sales experience, preferably in parts, industrial, construction, or agricultural sectors.
  • Strong commercial and negotiating skills.
  • Persuasive with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products or their equivalents.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.

We are looking for an External Sales Advisor who will focus on our customers in the South-West part of Italy. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales and performance targets, by planning effective sales visits and calls to existing customers and new prospects. In addition, you will work closely with colleagues in other departments, in order to maximise profitable business growth.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Maintenance and further development of the commercial contacts with existing customers in order to maximise profitable business growth.
  • Active sales in the products you are responsible for in order to stimulate the sales and realize the set turnover.
  • Contacting and mapping new customers (suspects and prospects), in order to further develop the customer portfolio within the defined sales objectives.
  • Detecting and informing about opportunities at (new) customers.
  • Preparation and planning of the customer visits in order to be able to use the available time as efficiently and optimally as possible and in this way manage the customer database as efficiently as possible.
  • Responsibility for the creation of qualitative reports, in order to be able to guarantee a good follow-up of the customer contacts.
  • Updating and maintaining product knowledge in order to optimize the service towards the customers.

How to succeed / your profile

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant sales experience, preferably in a relevant sector: parts, industrial, construction, agricultural.
  • You have strong commercial and negotiating skills
  • You are persuasive and you have a strong sense of initiative
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products or their equivalents
  • Fluent in Italian and English
