Copywriter and Marketing Specialist

GemOne, a tech company within the TVH group, is seeking a full-time Copywriter & Marketing Specialist based in Waregem. This role focuses on developing future-proof telematics solutions for industrial fleets. The specialist will work closely with commercial and CX teams, leveraging expertise in content creation, B2B copywriting, and general marketing to optimize fleet performance through cloud-based solutions and hardware components. The ideal candidate values clear communication, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Must Have

• Conduct research on industry-specific topics and produce blog content.
• Lead planning and creation of social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).
• Optimize new and existing content for SEO by integrating relevant keywords.
• Plan, film, and edit video content related to products and marketing.
• Collaborate on white papers, guides, and lead-generation materials.
• Design and manage email funnels, including copy and performance analysis.
• Create customer case studies, testimonials, and social proof content.
• Develop and update website content, landing pages, brochures, scripts, and presentations.
• Contribute to planning and execution of marketing events.
• Provide marketing support for trade shows and networking events.
• Draft company newsletters for customers.
• Support local sales team with marketing efforts.
• Take ownership of assigned content marketing projects.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively and work independently.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and initiative.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct research on industry-specific topics and regularly produce blog content aligned with GemOne’s overarching content strategy.
• Lead the planning and creation of social media content in coordination with the marketing team, including scheduling, publishing, and reporting for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Optimize both new and existing content for SEO by identifying and integrating relevant keywords to improve organic visibility.
• Plan, film, and edit video content related to product installation, usage, troubleshooting, and other marketing video assets in collaboration with the team.
• Collaborate with the product and commercial teams to develop white papers, guides, and other lead-generation materials on topics relevant to our customer base.
• Design and manage email funnels, including writing email copy, analyzing campaign performance, and refining messaging for improved engagement.
• Create customer case studies, testimonials, and social proof content—managing the full process from customer interviews to drafting, feedback, and final approval.
• Develop and update website content, campaign landing pages, product brochures, video scripts, and sales presentations for use across the sales cycle.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing events such as Dealer Days, End User Events, and Partner Workshops.
• Provide marketing support to commercial teams in preparing materials for trade shows and networking events, including email templates and social media content.
• Draft company newsletters to inform current and prospective customers about industry developments and key GemOne updates.
• Support the local sales team with marketing efforts, such as dealer network research, contact sourcing, and creation of sales outreach materials.
• Take ownership of assigned content marketing projects and ensure timely and effective delivery.

HOW TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of leadership, while also demonstrating the capability to work independently.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and a demonstrated initiative.
• Substantial experience in content writing, ideally supported by a professional portfolio.
• Proficiency in planning, filming, and editing video content.
• Relevant qualification in marketing, content writing, copywriting, or a related field.
• Experience managing content within WordPress or other content management systems.
