The Field and Events Marketing Manager at Trend Micro will lead end-to-end field event experiences in Canada, partnering with the Growth Marketing Leader. This role focuses on creating high-impact, account-based marketing programs to drive pipeline growth and customer expansion. Responsibilities include designing and executing event strategies, managing pre-event planning, leading post-event follow-up, and leveraging AI-driven insights to optimize campaigns and personalize content for measurable ROI.

Must Have

  • Design and execute field event strategies
  • Own pre-event planning (audience segmentation, messaging alignment, engagement tactics)
  • Lead post-event follow-up strategies (timely, personalized outreach)
  • Partner with Sales, Channel, and Operations
  • Use AI-driven insights to optimize event themes and targets, campaigns, personalize content, and predict engagement trends
  • Track and report on ROI, pipeline impact, and conversion metrics
  • Proven field/regional marketing experience in technology or cybersecurity sectors (3+ years)
  • Expertise in event marketing, customer experience design, and post-event conversion strategies
  • Strong understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) and integrated campaign execution
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems
  • Comfortable applying design principles to produce visually appealing graphics and marketing assets
  • Must be based in Canada and able to travel regionally for events
  • Fluency in both English and French

Job Description

Position Summary:

The Field and Events Marketing Manager is responsible for owning the end-to-end field event experience in Canada in partnership with the Growth Marketing Leader. From pre-event planning and alignment with Sales leadership to post-event follow-up strategies that drive conversion and measurable ROI. This role focuses on creating high-impact, account-based marketing programs that fuel pipeline growth and customer expansion across the region.

You will fully manage event strategies, ensuring seamless alignment with sales objectives and delivering compelling experiences that convert leads into opportunities. This includes developing integrated campaigns around flagship events, regional field activities, and executive experiences that resonate with target accounts and decision-makers.

AI in Marketing Initiatives:

This role leverages AI-powered tools to personalize outreach, optimize campaign performance, and analyze engagement data for smarter decision-making. From predictive analytics to automated follow-up workflows, AI will be used to scale impact and deliver hyper-relevant experiences that accelerate pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Proven field/regional marketing experience in technology or cybersecurity sectors (3+ years).
  • Expertise in event marketing, customer experience design, and post-event conversion strategies
  • Strong understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) and integrated campaign execution
  • Enthusiastic interest in AI tools for marketing automation, personalization, and analytics
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Comfortable applying design principles to produce visually appealing graphics and marketing assets

  • Must be based in Canada and able to travel regionally for events
