This role is for a Field Technical Support Engineer for an upcoming project with opportunities in various regions of Mexico. The engineer will provide technical support to clients for specific products and applications, including kiosks and technological stations. Responsibilities include software, hardware, and network support for various IT equipment, installation and maintenance of computer systems, network devices, and AV equipment. The role also involves performing installations, modifications, testing, and ensuring client satisfaction while adhering to service level agreements.
Must Have
- Provide software, hardware, and network support for IT equipment.
- Install and maintain computer equipment, software, and network devices.
- Support network products, including preventive maintenance.
- Perform installations, transfers, additions, and modifications.
- Test and certify client-approved equipment and applications.
- Follow up on escalated technical issues.
- Maintain professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Comply with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Bachelor's/Engineering degree or high school with relevant experience.
- 1-2 years experience in technical support or field engineering.
- Knowledge of hardware/software installation and configuration.
- Proficiency in Windows/macOS and remote support tools.
- Understanding of LAN/WAN networks and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with corporate audiovisual equipment.
- Availability for constant travel to assigned locations.
- Professional attitude and problem-solving skills in the field.

Field Technical Support Engineer (Future Project)
What success looks like in this role:
We are in the diffusion and recruitment stage for an upcoming opening project, which will offer job opportunities in multiple regions, including Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and northern and southern areas.
As a Field Engineer, you will provide technical support to specific clients and/or for specific products and applications, including kiosks or technological stations.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide software, hardware and network support for desktop computers, laptops, servers, network devices, AV rooms and other connected equipment.
- Install and maintain computer equipment, associated software, networks, servers, peripherals and other network devices.
- Support network products from an operational and maintenance perspective, including preventive maintenance activities.
- Perform installations, transfers, additions and modifications as required.
- Test and certify equipment (PCs, networks, servers) and applications approved by the client.
- Follow up on escalated problems or requests.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in your behavior, presentation and attire.
- Comply with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and ensure customer satisfaction in all interactions.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- ### Bachelor's or related Engineering degree (Systems, Computer Science, Networks, Electronics or similar) completed or in progress. Failing that, candidates with a completed high school diploma and verifiable experience in technical support or field engineering will be considered.
- ### Experience: 1 to 2 years in technical support, equipment maintenance, networks, and similar functions.
Technical skills:
- ### Knowledge in hardware and software installation, configuration and maintenance.
- ### Proficiency in Windows/macOS operating systems and remote support tools.
- ### Understanding of LAN/WAN networks, structured cabling and network devices.
- ### Familiarity with corporate audiovisual equipment (AV rooms, video conferences).
Other requirements:
- ### Availability to make constant transfers between different locations in the assigned areas.
- ### Professional attitude, service orientation and ability to resolve incidents in the field.
