Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Analyst with over 5 years of experience, ideally in the audiovisual production and/or advertising sectors. The mission of this role is to conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support accurate budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, enabling organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of budget versus actual performance, identify key variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management. Prepare and present financial reports to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models for annual budgets and regular rolling forecasts. Analyze financial trends and project future performance.
- Conduct profitability analyses for projects, clients, or business segments to guide the organization's financial strategy.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights for department heads. Support business partners by providing financial guidance on initiatives and projects.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. This may involve automating reports and creating advanced spreadsheets.
- Partner closely with accounting teams and other departments to ensure data integrity and align financial processes with business objectives.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and modeling, preferably in audiovisual production and/or advertising.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with expert-level skills in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1+).
