Job Summary

Neptune Pacific Direct Line (NPDL) is seeking a Finance Attaché for a 4-month internship at their Suva Head Office. This role is ideal for Accounting or Finance students looking to gain hands-on experience. Responsibilities include processing payments, data entry for invoices, reconciling creditors, and assisting with AP queries, providing valuable practical exposure in a professional accounting environment.

Must Have

  • Keep track of all payments and expenditures for approved purchase orders, invoices and monthly statements
  • Do data entry for monthly invoices, Petty cash and Manual cheques
  • File all posted invoices accordingly
  • Follow up Outstanding invoices and PO from departments
  • Reconcile Creditors weekly/monthly payments with statements
  • Forward Reconciliation for payment approval to Team Leader
  • Generate Remittance Advice for paid invoices and forward it to suppliers
  • Monitor AP emails
  • Process daily payments for Shipping lines, traveling charges and LTA
  • File all monthly and daily payments in organized manner
  • Assist in attending AP queries
  • Diploma/final year degree student majoring in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of integrity and work ethics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Pro-active team player
  • Highly skilled with technology and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft suite
  • Legal right to live and work in Fiji

We currently have an excellent opportunity for students majoring in Accounting or Finance to join our team as a Finance Attaché for a period of 4 months, based at our Suva Head Office who will be responsible for Processing of payments, Data Entry / Daily payment / Monthly accounts payments. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment and is ideal for students looking to gain practical exposure alongside their studies.
