Crunchyroll is seeking a Finance Transformation Senior Manager to establish and lead its finance transformation function. This role involves managing complex projects, including process redesign, technology enablement, and operating model evolution, to support Crunchyroll's growth. The manager will facilitate cross-functional alignment, ensure disciplined execution, manage team engagement, and embed change management practices. Key responsibilities include developing the finance transformation roadmap, leading projects from ideation to implementation, optimizing processes, systems, and data, and communicating effectively with stakeholders and executives.

Must Have:
  • Produce and maintain the finance transformation roadmap, timelines, and work plans across people, process, and technology work streams.
  • Lead projects from ideation to implementation; develop project charters and plans, track timelines & milestones, and surface risks with mitigation strategies.
  • Improve PMO processes, tools, and delivery models to enhance project delivery and outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops to understand current state processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to future state designs and optimization recommendations.
  • Bring the strategy on implementing process, system, and data improvements across finance working with cross-functional partners throughout the company.
  • Collaborate with finance, data, technology, and operational SMEs to develop foundational capabilities for reporting, analytics, automation, and AI at scale.
  • Cultivate stakeholder relationships and maintain communication channels ensuring team members are informed of status and important activities.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level program updates, dashboards, and decision materials.
  • Facilitate meetings to align sponsors and stakeholders on important decisions and trade-offs.
  • Lead efforts around training, engagement, and communication to provide a smooth transition to new ways of working.
  • Be a trusted partner to finance leadership in assessing organizational readiness and change impacts.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to evolve the finance operating model, role design, location strategy, and organizational structures.
  • 8+ years of experience in program management, transformation, consulting, or a similar strategic role at a media and entertainment or technology company.
  • Track record of driving finance related process improvement, system implementation, and change management initiatives with quantifiable outcomes.
  • Led or supported a cross-functional team on an end-to-end technology implementation (e.g., ERP, financial system, data & reporting platform).
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of finance and basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to synthesize complex concepts and ideas into clear presentations, messaging, and tools.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and preferably supported some level of organizational design.

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Transformation Senior Manager to be part of building the recently established finance transformation function and help redefine the future of finance.

You will manage complex projects to support growth plans and across multi-workstream transformation efforts including process redesign, technology enablement, and operating model evolution. You will facilitate cross-functional alignment, guide disciplined execution, manage team member engagement at all levels, and embed change management practices to achieve and sustain successful outcomes. You will help establish program management guidelines and practices to ensure effective, efficient, and high-quality delivery that meets strategic goals.

The impact you will have:

Program Management & Execution

  • Produce and maintain the finance transformation roadmap, timelines, and work plans across people, process, and technology work streams
  • Lead projects from ideation to implementation; develop project charters and plans, track timelines & milestones, and surface risks with mitigation strategies

We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.
