Job Summary

Ariens Company is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator in Fayetteville, TN. This full-time role involves handling materials for outdoor power equipment, operating industrial trucks, loading/unloading materials, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to assembly cells. The position requires strict adherence to standard work, recording information, and assisting team members to meet production goals. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Must Have

  • Handle materials for outdoor power equipment

  • Load and unload materials and units onto trucks
  • Enter material movement into AS400
  • Operate an industrial truck or pallet jack
  • Deliver right parts, right quantities to assembly cells or work centers
  • Off load incoming product and transfer to proper storage locations
  • Safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Description

Ariens Company is seeking a self-starting, motivated Forklift Operator to join our team in Fayetteville, TN.

Pay: $20 per hour

4 X 10 work schedule Mon.-Thur. 4:30A-3:00P

THE DAY TO DAY…

  • Work as part of a team having responsibility for handling materials for outdoor power equipment
  • Handles raw materials and/or parts and places in designated location
  • Operates equipment needed to perform the job
  • Strict adherence to standard work
  • Assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals
  • Records information in adherence to standard work
  • Loads and unloads materials and units onto trucks
  • Enters the material movement into AS400
  • Operates an industrial truck or pallet jack to assist in loading or moving product
  • Delivers right parts, right quantities to assembly cells or work centers in a timely manner
  • Off load incoming product and transfer to proper storage locations
  • May locate and transport raw materials to and from work centers
  • Identify and locate proper tooling when requested by operators
  • May load and unload dies into work centers
  • Empty scrap hoppers
  • Assist with set-up duties as needed
  • Assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals

THE QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Demonstrated experience in safely operating a forklift and other material handling equip
