Job Summary
The Project Manager at Dambuster Studios will collaborate with the Project Management and Production team to ensure the delivery of project-related features and content. Key responsibilities include administering JIRA projects, identifying improvements to JIRA structure, tracking and reporting progress, maintaining knowledge-sharing platforms, and managing external relationships with outsource partners and marketing agencies. The role requires attendance at daily stand-ups and participation in meetings to keep the team updated on project progress.
Must Have
- Thorough, practical understanding of JIRA
- Administer JIRA projects and query data
- Identify improvements to JIRA structure and suggest plugins
- Work with Production Team to establish good working practices
- Add, edit, and maintain internal knowledge-sharing platforms
- Work with and manage external relationships (outsource partners, marketing agencies)
- 2+ years Project Management experience
- Proven knowledge of multiple Project Management methodologies

Role overview
The primary remit of the Project Manager is to collaborate with the Project Management and Production team to ensure the delivery of project related features and content. This role is available on an in-studio or hybrid basis, unfortunately we cannot offer fully remote for this role.

Responsibilities
- The Project Manager is expected to have a thorough, practical understanding of JIRA.
- You will administer our JIRA projects and be able to query data, raising any issues and obstructions with the Lead Project Manager.
- You will help to identify improvements to the current JIRA structure, research and suggest plugins that would improve the usage across the development team.
- You will work with the wider Production Team to establish good working practices within the team to accurately track and report progress.
- You will add, edit and maintain our internal knowledge-sharing platforms.
- You will work with and manage external relationships with entities such as outsource production partners and marketing agencies.
Additional Responsibilities
- Prepare for and attend daily stand-ups; providing updates as and when required
- Use associated Project Management systems/Kbox and participate in meetings as defined by Managers, Project Managers and/or Producers to keep the broader team up to date with progress
- From time to time be required to do tasks outside of immediate remit (such tasks will usually be closely aligned with the employee’s skillset or knowledge database)
- Any other task as may be reasonably assigned by the Lead Project Manager, from time-to-time
- Documenting and presenting processes, techniques, knowledge or guidelines based on the production of work
- Ensure that the progress of the project is communicated to the wider team on a regular basis through weekly update emails, forum posts or show ‘n’ tell events.
- Identification of single points of failure within the development team and taking preventative action.
- Any other duties as might be reasonably requested from the Production Leadership team.
Requirements
- 2+ years Project Management experience, demonstrating expertise in JIRA.
- Proven knowledge of multiple Project Management methodologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across teams and disciplines.
- Proven ability to manage projects, balancing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- A track record of delivering high-quality work with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
