In The Pocket is seeking a Freelance Field & Events Marketer to drive business growth and shape the brand. This role involves end-to-end ownership of digital events, nurture campaigns, and sales/talent enablement activities, based on company strategy. The marketer will plan, coordinate, and execute field marketing activities across Belgium & the Netherlands, track event success, manage budgets, and secure speaking opportunities. The role also supports growth marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, and employer branding efforts. It requires a hands-on, collaborative individual with strong program management skills.
Good To Have:
  • Certifications and experience with Marketing Automation Platforms (MAP) and CRM (e.g., Hubspot).
  • Familiarity with Paid advertising (Instagram, Google, Linkedin, YouTube).
  • Familiarity with CMS (Webflow), design (Figma/Canva), Data (Lookerstudio), forms (Tally).
Must Have:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute field marketing activities, including webinars, trade shows, round tables, and customer engagement events across Belgium & the Netherlands.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure events align with overall business objectives and optimize impact.
  • Track and report on event success metrics, including attendance, lead generation, and ROI.
  • Responsible for quarterly customer satisfaction surveys (NPS) and follow-up actions across the organization.
  • Develop and set up pre- and post-event campaigns to drive pipeline progression and ROI; track and report event performance.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution, and responsible for budget administration and follow-up.
  • Manage speaking opportunities—identify events, develop talk tracks, and secure engagements to boost brand visibility.
  • Lead or support growth marketing efforts tied to field marketing, including demand generation and account-based marketing.
  • Contribute to content marketing (planning, distribution, social media), digital marketing, and employer branding.
  • Support customer or partner marketing and employer branding efforts (e.g., roundtables), merchandising, sales enablement material.
  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a product marketing or field marketing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions with excellent communication and influence skills.
  • Strong communicator and program manager, able to handle multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail and delivering on-brand material.
  • Strong experience in (digital) event marketing, lead generation, and digital campaigning.
  • Understand the ins and outs of marketing automation, familiar with setting up nurture campaigns, and tech-savvy.
  • Available to start as a freelancer in a temporary assignment, starting as soon as possible, for a duration of 6 months.

You’ll be both a true collaborator and a hands-on operator, working side-by-side with your peers in the marketing team and collaborating across the company to execute plans.

What will you do?

Field marketing role
