Job Summary

The Senior Marketing Events Manager will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact event strategies to generate pipeline, strengthen brand presence, and build relationships with nonprofit customers and prospects. This role involves end-to-end event logistics, from planning and vendor management to on-site execution, ensuring brand consistency and measurable ROI. The manager will also foster cross-functional alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Product teams, contributing to program growth and scalability while supporting key initiatives like the annual Collaborative event.

Must Have

  • Identify and prioritize industry events aligned with business goals and audience needs
  • Develop a strategic event calendar to drive pipeline, retention, and brand awareness
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create integrated, localized events that deliver ROI and brand impact
  • Develop creative, high-quality event concepts and lead end-to-end event logistics
  • Ensure brand consistency across all experiences including speaker alignment and content development
  • Define and track KPIs, report on event impact, and use insights to refine strategy
  • Act as the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, and Product
  • Lead cross-functional project management to maintain alignment, accelerate execution, and support strategic decision making
  • 5-7 years of experience in field or event marketing
  • Proven track record of executing events that influence pipeline and build brand equity
  • Deep understanding of the event lifecycle
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Creative, agile, and highly organized, with exceptional time management
  • Experience with Salesforce, ClickUp, Swoogo, and/or other event management tools
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams and traveling up to 35% of the time

Join us! The GoFundMe Pro team is searching for our next Senior Marketing Events Manager who will help with creating high-impact event experiences that generate pipeline, strengthen brand presence, and build lasting relationships with nonprofit customers and prospects.

The Job

  • Event Strategy & Planning Identify and prioritize industry events aligned with business goals and audience needs. Develop a strategic event calendar to drive pipeline, retention, and brand awareness. Collaborate cross-functionally to create integrated, localized events that deliver ROI and brand impact, while serving as the internal expert on impactful event experiences. Contribute to the development and evolution of marketing event processes that strengthen program growth and scalability.
  • Execution & Activation Develop creative, high-quality event concepts and lead end-to-end event logistics, including vendors, venues, budget, and on-site execution. Ensure brand consistency across all experiences including speaker alignment and content development. Partner stakeholders to host roundtables, meetups, and forums that highlight product innovations and deepen customer engagement.
  • Measurement & Optimization Define and track KPIs, report on event impact, and use insights to refine strategy. Continuously improve event formats and messaging to maximize ROI.
  • Cross-Functional & Strategic Alignment Act as the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, and Product—ensuring events reflect current business priorities and customer needs. Lead cross-functional project management to maintain alignment, accelerate execution, and support strategic decision making. Share field insights to guide messaging and product strategy. Support GoFundMe’s annual flagship event, Collaborative, with a focus on sales and customer engagement.

You

  • 5-7 years of experience in field or event marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or nonprofit technology.
  • Proven track record of executing events that influence pipeline and build brand equity.
  • Deep understanding of the event lifecycle—from strategy and logistics to content and measurement.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams.
  • Creative, agile, and highly organized, with exceptional time management to manage multiple events and competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce, ClickUp, Swoogo, and/or other event management tools.
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams and traveling up to 35% of the time.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
