EDGLRD is seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating stunning user experiences for cross platform applications focused on artist workflows. You'll be working at the forefront of technology and design, bringing our digital projects to life. If you have a keen eye for design, proficiency in the latest web technologies, and a desire to produce work that captivates and engages users, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement visually appealing, responsive application designs that offer users an engaging experience.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities.
- Assist in the creation of reusable code and libraries for future use.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in UX/UI libraries such as TailwindCSS, Bootstrap and/or GSAP.
- Strong understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
- Experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, or DurandalJS.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates (e.g. AJAX).
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Familiarity with front-end CI/CD tools, such as Grunt or Gulp.js.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with web-based text editors is a plus
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Front-End Web Developer.
- A strong portfolio showcasing innovative design and creative coding skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
