Our team, the IT Player Experience Engineering team, goal is to build applications and services to improve the player experience of millions of players worldwide.
As a Full-Stack Java Engineer, you will develop scalable Web applications for millions of players worldwide. You will apply the latest Backend and front-end technologies to implement modern, sleek applications. You would also work with Scrum master and Product managers and partners to deliver products in the area of Player experience.
What you'll do:
You'll partner with product owners to develop scalable and efficient solutions to improve players experience
You'll develop high-volume, low-latency java applications or backend APIs using Java , Spring boot over Microservices architecture.
You'll build Frontend design and integrations with backend services.
You'll work on cloud native serverless solutions to achieve product capabilities.
You'll be responsible for code quality and efficiency including unit tests.
You'll have to collaborate with the best designers, engineers of different technical backgrounds, and architects.
You'll report to the Senior Manager - Engineering
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer science engineering or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of experience as a Full stack Java engineer.
Minimum 2+ years of Solid hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring, Spring boot, Microservices
Minimum 1+ experience working in front end technologies like NextJS, React or Angular and TypeScript/JavaScript along with advanced CSS technologies like Tailwind or Bootstrap
Understand requirements and create APIs from scratch using Spring Boot
Some experience using cloud services in AWS like Lambda, S3, EC2, Step Functions or similar Cloud products
Good experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases and its query languages.
Good experience writing unit tests using Junit to ensure production ready code with minimalistic bugs.
Some understanding of Containerization concepts with platforms like Docker and Kubernetes will be a goo add-on.
Experience with Agile methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, develop user stories and work through backlogs.
