The Content Pipeline Art Director will collaborate with world-building and concept design teams to lead early-stage content exploration, ensuring visual expression and narrative potential. This role involves building and managing the art pipeline for in-game and external performance content, overseeing all artistic aspects from storyboarding to post-production, and setting art standards to optimize production efficiency and quality.

Job Responsibilities

1. Closely collaborate with world-building planners and concept design teams to lead early-stage game content exploration, ensuring that concept designs and world-building settings possess excellent visual expressiveness and narrative potential, laying a high-quality foundation for subsequent content production.

2. Responsible for building and managing the art pipeline for in-game and external "performance content", including: combat skill performances, story cutscenes, world-building display segments, promotional PVs, etc.

3. Oversee the entire art process for various in-game and external performance content, including but not limited to storyboard script review, animation performance design, special effects design and camera planning, post-production compositing, etc., to ensure that the final output meets project art direction and quality standards.

4. Formulate and standardize art standards and processes for content production, and collaborate with planning, design, animation, special effects, engine, sound effects, and other technical teams to optimize the production pipeline and improve the efficiency and consistency of content output.

5. Manage the content art team, reasonably allocate resources, cultivate the professional abilities of team members, and as the art pipeline lead, efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams such as planning, programming, and audio to perfectly implement content creativity.

Job Requirements

1. 5+ years of art experience in the game industry, with complete development experience in action, RPG, or narrative-driven projects. Management experience as a Lead Artist or Content Pipeline Lead is preferred.

2. Possess a deep understanding of visual storytelling, proficient in storyboard language, camera direction, and animation principles, capable of effectively guiding the emotional expression and rhythm control of various performance content.

3. Possess excellent aesthetic judgment and critical thinking, able to provide constructive feedback on concept design, animation performance, and other content, and drive them to achieve industry-leading quality.

4. Possess excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills, able to deeply understand product requirements, build consensus in cross-team collaboration, and drive the execution and delivery of complex content tasks.

5. Passionate about game content, possess excellent team leadership and self-motivation, able to adapt to a fast-paced R&D environment, and lead the team in continuous technical and artistic innovation.
