Job Summary

Plarium is working on a multi-platform third-person shooter in a realistic setting with innovative gameplay. The successful candidate will be a Game Designer responsible for creating game mechanics, systems, balance, events, interfaces, and documentation. This role involves active communication with the development team and implementing gaming trends, leveraging Plarium's 15 years of game development experience and data from analysts.

Must Have

  • Creating game mechanics and systems according to project requirements, and confirming them with stakeholders
  • Creating and maintaining game design documentation and feature balance
  • Maintaining active communication with the development team
  • Following gaming trends and implementing them into the game
  • At least 2 year of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with Google Sheets and creating technical documentation
  • Experience creating game balance documents and technical assignments
  • English language skills at an intermediate level or higher

Good to Have

  • A deep understanding of game mechanics in the shooter genre
  • Experience in midcore mobile gaming
  • Hands-on experience with Confluence and Jira
  • Experience working with Unity
  • Higher education in a technical field

We are working on a multi-platform third-person shooter in a realistic setting with innovative gameplay. The project is large-scale and ambitious both from graphics and game design point of view as well as from a technical perspective.

The successful candidate will become part of a team responsible for game design including forming the concepts for in-game functionality, as well as creating game balance, game events, interfaces, and documentation.

To support decision-making in their work, our specialists use Plarium's 15 years of game development experience as well as data from a team of analysts.
