Job Summary

Responsible for operations of Access Control Systems (ACS), coordinating installations, monitoring the lifecycle, reviewing the corporate ACS policy, as well as overseeing integrations with other physical security technologies. Oversees security operations at assigned sites, manages contracted security services, defines project scopes, and provides technical support for security systems (intrusion, CCTV, etc.). Maintains and promotes the implementation of security policies and processes, conducts investigations, participates in Executive Protection activities, establishes control mechanisms and mitigation measures for security risks, coordinates inspections by the industrial risk consulting company, and provides technical support for supply chain security programs (CTPAT/OEA).

Must Have

  • Coordinate ACS implementation at new sites.
  • Manage Lenel systems migration, maintenance, and updates.
  • Ensure ACS standard compliance with cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Develop and manage ACS hardware inventory.
  • Supervise server backups and SQL database management.
  • Oversee Aptiv's Security Operations in Mexico.
  • Support and develop security supervisors.
  • Coordinate and conduct investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate security requirements.
  • Work with internal departments for supply chain security programs (C-TPAT, OEA).
  • Design and maintain security training programs.
  • Support new site planning.
  • Design, implement, and update security guidelines.
  • Define requirements for security systems (CCTV, access control).
  • Participate in executive protection services.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Extensive experience with Lenel Access Control Systems and servers.
  • Experience with Lenel S2 OnGuard at host server level.
  • Minimum five years in security management.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Project management skills.

Job Description

Responsible for operations of Access Control Systems (ACS), coordinating installations, monitoring the lifecycle, reviewing the corporate ACS policy, as well as overseeing integrations with other physical security technologies.

Oversees security operations at assigned sites, manages contracted security services, defines project scopes, and provides technical support for security systems (intrusion, CCTV, etc.). Maintains and promotes the implementation of security policies and processes, conducts investigations, participates in Executive Protection activities, establishes control mechanisms and mitigation measures for security risks, coordinates inspections by the industrial risk consulting company, and provides technical support for supply chain security programs (CTPAT/OEA).

My Role:

  • Coordinates the implementation of access control systems at new sites on regional servers and works with designated on-site personnel and approved integrators to ensure system implementation in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Coordinates the migration, maintenance, and updates of Lenel systems within the organization.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with involved areas to ensure the ACS standard complies with network cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Develops and manages an inventory of all ACS hardware and works with cybersecurity to ensure proper compliance.
  • Supervises server backups and archiving plans, as well as the management of SQL databases throughout all phases of the server and software lifecycle.
  • Supervises Aptiv's Security Operations in Mexico (assigned sites).
  • Supports, supervises, and develops security supervisors at assigned locations.
  • Coordinates and conducts assigned investigations.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate security requirements.
  • Works with internal departments to ensure compliance with security requirements in supply chain security programs such as C-TPAT and OEA.
  • Designs and maintains updated security training programs.
  • Supports internal departments in planning for new sites.
  • Designs, implements, and updates security guidelines.
  • Defines requirements for security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.) at assigned buildings.
  • Coordinates and actively participates in executive protection services.

My backgound:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Advanced level of English
  • Extensive experience with Lenel Access Control Systems and supporting servers
  • Experience with Lenel S2 OnGuard at the host server level
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a security management position, including security operations, investigations, legal security requirements, supply chain security programs (CTPAT and OEA), executive protection, fire prevention and protection, and knowledge of security systems (ACS, intrusion, and CCTV)
  • Availability to travel
  • Project management skills
