Global Enterprise Architecture: Enterprise Architect (Staff, Team Leader)

Job Responsibilities

• As an architect in the Global Information Systems Department's Enterprise Architecture team, select and promote architecture and global in-house standard technologies.
• Collaborate with internal business functions, application owners, architects, vendors, offshore centers, etc., to support and guide solution considerations for various application development projects across projects.
• Promote the department's overall application development towards more Cloud Native and API-centric Modern application development, contributing to business flexibility, agility, and scalability.
• Analyze the IS/IT application portfolio and create plans and proposals for improvement.

Required Experience/Skills (MUST)

[Experience in either of the following]

• IT department of a business company OR
• Practical experience in architecture consideration and development at an IT vendor, consulting firm, or SIer

[Requirements]

• English communication with global stakeholders (North America, Europe, India, etc.)
• Ability to build good relationships with many internal and external stakeholders and proceed with work.
• Communication ability to explain complex content in simple words in both Japanese and English.
• 7+ years of experience in developing various types of applications and designing/building architectures (including cloud).
• Proactive drive to actively promote things and flexibility to respond to changes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.

• If native language is not Japanese: JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test): N3 level or higher.
• If native language is Japanese: TOEIC: 600 points or higher.

Desired Experience/Skills (WANT)

• Various IT-related qualifications: Basic/Applied Information Technology Engineer, TOGAF, Scrum Master, etc.
• Language proficiency:
• If native language is not Japanese: JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test): Desired N2 level.
• If native language is Japanese: TOEIC: 730 points or higher.
