This role is for an Enterprise Architect within the Global Information Systems department, focusing on selecting and promoting global standard technologies and architectures. The position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to support and guide application development projects, driving the shift towards Cloud Native and API-centric modern applications. Job Details

Job Responsibilities

  • As an architect in the Global Information Systems department's Enterprise Architecture team, you will select and promote architecture and global in-house standard technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal business functions, application owners, architects, vendors, offshore centers, etc., to support and guide solution development for various application development projects across projects.
  • Promote the department's overall application development towards more Cloud Native and API-centric modern application development, contributing to business flexibility, agility, and scalability.
  • Analyze the IS/IT application portfolio and create/propose improvement plans.

Required Experience/Skills (MUST)

Experience

  • Experience in the IT department of an operating company, OR
  • Practical experience in architecture review and development at an IT vendor, consulting firm, or SIer.

Requirements

  • English communication with global stakeholders (North America, Europe, India, etc.).
  • Ability to proceed with work while building good relationships with many internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communication skills to explain complex content simply in both Japanese and English.
  • 7+ years of experience in diverse application development and architecture design/construction (including cloud).
  • Proactive drive to actively promote things and flexibility to respond to changes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.

If your native language is not Japanese: JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test): N3 or higher.

If your native language is Japanese: TOEIC: 600 points or higher.

Desired Experience/Skills (WANT)

  • Various IT certifications: Basic/Applied Information Technology Engineer, TOGAF, Scrum Master, etc.
  • Language proficiency:
