Job Description

The Staff, Safety Management role at Nissan Motor Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. involves monitoring and investigating health and safety incidents, ensuring compliance with occupational health & safety management systems, and recommending protective equipment. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining environmental measurement programs, organizing safety training for employees and contractors, and managing safety documentation and reports for government officers and internal committees. The position is permanent and full-time at the Nissan ASEAN Technical Center in Samut Prakarn, Thailand.
Must Have:
  • Monitor incidents of injury, illness, and other situations within an assigned NMAP TC area.
  • Investigate environmental accidents and other health & public safety concerns and establish the countermeasure.
  • Ensure the operations are followed company system, comply with occupational health & safety management system and safety rules/regulations.
  • Recommend appropriate protective equipment that workers should wear while carrying out tasks.
  • Develop and maintain environmental measurement and monitoring programs, evaluate workplace environments to ensure compliance with EHS standards and regal requirements.
  • Identify and develop relevant training programs for company employee and management.
  • Organize and implement any training/activities related to risks and safety and ensure the training for all employees based on safety legal & other requirements.
  • Enhance safety related knowledge of employees and contractors to ensure their understanding of safety risks in their work and enable them to properly manage the risks in their daily work.
  • Create analytical & safety report to the government officer as legal requirement.
  • Provide regular report on relevant health and safety activities to superior presenting in the committee meeting.
  • Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
  • Bachelor’s degree Occupational Health and Safety or related.
  • Job planning skills.
  • Problem analysis and solving Skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good computer skill in MS Office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • English skills; TOEIC scores 550 up.
