Job Description

As a Graduate/Junior Programmer at Hello Games, you'll immediately contribute to game development. You'll work alongside an experienced team, creating and implementing game features, writing high-quality code, and learning all aspects of game development. Collaboration is key, as you'll work with a multi-disciplinary team to solve problems and ensure quality. Responsibilities include creating and implementing features, writing high-quality code, collaborating with a team, and taking ownership of deadlines. This role offers invaluable hands-on experience for recent graduates eager to launch their game development careers. You’ll be contributing to a well-known and respected game studio, from day one.

Must Have:

Great grades in Computer Science
Strong math background (3D math, vectors, matrices)
Proficient in C++
Game development portfolio
Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

Great grades from a computer science degree, or a similar degree.
A strong math background, comfortable with 3D math, vector and matrix math. You will probably have at least A-Level math.
You have a good understanding of C++ and for fun you probably write games in C++ in your spare time.
Have some amazing demos of things you’ve been working on to show us.
You have good communication skills to work across a multidiscipline team.
