Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from component feasibility through production ramp. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and validating testability circuits, debugging complex test methods and software programs, and developing test hardware solutions. The engineer will also test, validate, modify, and redesign circuits, analyze component specifications, evaluate performance, and optimize production for quality and cost, while addressing early customer returns.

Must Have

  • Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits.
  • Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits.
  • Develop and debug complex test methods and software programs.
  • Develop test validation and production test hardware solutions.
  • Test, validate, modify and redesign circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
  • Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance.
  • Analyze early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
  • Create and apply concepts for optimizing component production.
  • Master/Bachelor Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics or Computer Engineering.
  • Good programming skill in C++ or Java.
  • High volume manufacturing experience with RF testing.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.

Good to Have

  • Good understanding of Radio technology, WiFi, BT, RF test methods and RF instruments.
  • Good understanding of Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

  • Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits.
  • Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods.
  • Develop and debug complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment.
  • Develop test validation and production test hardware solutions.
  • Test, validate, modify and redesign circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
  • Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
  • Analyze early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
  • Create and apply concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
  • Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks, develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications:

  • Master/Bachelor Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics or Computer Engineering.
  • Good programming skill in C++ or Java.
  • Good understanding of Radio technology, WiFi, BT, RF test methods and RF instruments as well as Automated Test Equipment (ATE) will be an added advantage.
  • High volume manufacturing experience with RF testing.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
