Job Description

As a Software/Hardware Engineer in a pre-silicon team, you will develop virtual platforms for Intel's next-generation Wireless Connectivity technologies (WiFi, BT). Your role involves designing and developing SystemC/C++ hardware modeling and software solutions to facilitate early-stage software/firmware development and system integration. You will collaborate with system architects, VLSI teams, and various software teams, including real-time embedded firmware, Windows, and Linux drivers.

Job Description:

Software/Hardware Engineer, member of a pre-silicon team, which develops Virtual platforms for the next generation of Intel Wireless Connectivity technologies (WiFi, BT). Design and develop SystemC/C++ HW modelling and SW solutions to enable SW/FW development and system SW and HW integration of Intel's products in early program stages (Shift Left). Collaborating with many interfaces and disciplines such as system architects, VLSI teams and with a variety of SW teams - real-time embedded FW, Windows and Linux drivers.

Qualifications:

BSc in Software Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering. 3+ years of experience in embedded systems programming with C/C++. Good communication skills and teamwork. Experience working with SystemC is a big advantage. Object oriented experience, familiarity with Network or specifically WiFi protocols, working with multi-core system flows are welcomed advantages as well. Experience in one or more of the following areas is also an advantage: ASIC design (MAC and/or PHY) or PreSi verification, Embedded FW, Win/Linux OS, C#, C++, Verilog, Python.
