As a Business Planning Manager within Ubisoft's International HQ Financial Planning (FP) department, you will be responsible for the budget consolidation process, full P&L management, monthly expense reviews, and profitability monitoring of various business models. The team analyzes and anticipates risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making for the company's development.

Job Description

Within the Financial Planning (FP) department of Ubisoft's international headquarters (HQ), you will join the team as a Business Planning Manager. In the Business Plan team, you will be responsible for the budget consolidation process and the full profit & loss (P&L) statement, monthly reviews of Ubisoft's expenses, as well as monitoring the profitability of its various business models. In this role, the team analyzes and anticipates risks and opportunities within its scope to support strategic decision-making for the company's development.

In this context, your main missions will be:

Monitoring financial performance

  • Drive and analyze the Group's main financial KPIs — including fixed cost base, personnel and non-personnel expenses, headcount, as well as overall ROI — to identify trends, risks, and optimization levers.

Forecasting and Consolidation

  • Consolidate and analyze the Group P&L as well as R&D investment data during budget and forecast cycles, in close collaboration with divisional FP&A teams.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency in collaboration with the financial systems team, particularly on intercompany billing and analytical reallocation topics.
  • Drive the standardization and optimization of financial processes, in collaboration with the financial systems team.

Strategic analysis and management support

  • Define and monitor the Group's financial objectives, ensuring their alignment with strategic ambitions and operational realities.
  • Identify and communicate key risks and opportunities to top Finance management, and monitor progress towards achieving objectives.
  • Provide strategic and financial analyses to support the Treasury and Investor Relations teams in their high-impact decision-making.

Transformation & process optimization

  • Actively contribute to the Group's transformation, particularly to the evolution of Financial Planning and financial management processes.
  • Support change management, by promoting the adoption of new tools, governance models, and best practices.

Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor a Financial Analyst, supporting their professional development and ensuring the production of high-quality analyses.

Qualifications

Relevant experience

  • You have significant experience in FP&A and consolidation, ideally within an international company or a complex environment.
  • Experience in process improvement and change management would be a plus.

Skills and knowledge

  • Advanced Excel proficiency, with a genuine interest in using and exploring consolidation tools (BAFT, HFM). Experience with Oracle technologies is a significant plus, as is proficiency in Power BI.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic and constantly evolving organization.
  • Comfort in a dynamic environment and proven experience in supporting organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Strategic thinking ability, combined with strong analytical skills and great attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly present financial analyses and recommendations to demanding stakeholders.
  • Fluent in French and English.
