Job Description

STAGE is seeking a Head of Performance Marketing to lead customer acquisition, scale winning creatives, and dominate organic growth. This role involves owning paid acquisition funnels across Meta, Google, and other channels, managing multi-crore budgets, and mentoring a team. The ideal candidate will drive ad creative strategy, optimize ad production, and build sustainable organic growth through SEO, ASO, and content. They should have 5-7 years of experience in performance marketing, deep expertise in large-scale ad campaigns, and proficiency in analytics tools.

  • Lead customer acquisition across paid channels (Meta, Google, etc.)

  • Own acquisition of quality audiences that engage and demonstrate high recurring subscriptions

  • 5-7 years in performance marketing and digital growth with a proven track record of scaling consumer tech, content, or D2C brands
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in managing large-scale, multi-crore Meta and Google ad campaigns with measurable results
  • A rare blend of creative intuition and a data-first approach, leveraging AI tools and a relentless creative testing framework
  • Fluency in Appsflyer, Metabase, GA4, Ads Manager, and other essential analytics and attribution tools
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing teams

Job Description

This role unifies three critical functions. You will-

1. Lead Customer Acquisition:

  • Own the entire paid acquisition funnel (Meta, Google & other acquisition channels) across all three markets.
  • Command a multi-crore budget to meet aggressive growth targets- on mandates & subscriptions - while maintaining strict CAC discipline.
  • Lead and mentor a team of performance marketing leads, building a world-class execution engine.
  • Own acquisition of quality audiences that engage & demonstrate high recurring subscriptions.

2. Scale Winning Creatives:

  • Be the driving force behind our ad creative strategy, guiding our promo production teams.
  • Foster a culture of rapid, data-informed experimentation with ad formats and messaging.
  • Ensure a high-velocity pipeline of high-converting ad creatives that resonate with our dialect-speaking audiences. In short, own and optimize the ad production pipeline to get to winning creatives fast & in an efficient way.

3. Dominate Organic Growth:

  • Build a sustainable, long-term growth engine beyond paid ads through SEO, ASO, and content-led strategies.
  • Own our App Store, Play Store, and YouTube optimization to maximize high-intent, low-cost user acquisition.
  • Turn cultural trends and search insights into powerful inbound marketing campaigns.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • A Seasoned Growth Leader: 5-7 years in performance marketing and digital growth, with a proven track record of scaling consumer tech, content, or D2C brands.
  • Performance Marketing Expert: Deep, hands-on expertise in managing large-scale, multi-crore Meta and Google ad campaigns with measurable results.
  • Creative & Analytical Mind: A rare blend of creative intuition and a data-first approach. You leverage AI tools and a relentless creative testing framework to unlock new levels of performance and efficiency.
  • Master of the Growth Stack: Fluency in Appsflyer, Metabase, GA4, Ads Manager, and other essential analytics and attribution tools.
  • Inspirational People Manager: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Cultural Curiosity: A genuine interest in regional India is a plus. Fluency in Haryanvi, Rajasthani, or Bhojpuri is desirable but not required.
