Job Summary
This Head of Sales role at Experian is responsible for achieving strategic revenue, growth, market share, and customer experience objectives within the Large Accounts segment. The position involves leading a highly skilled commercial team, driving business expansion through innovative strategies, and fostering strong relationships with clients and strategic partners. Key responsibilities include setting clear goals, providing coaching, developing sales and marketing strategies, collaborating with internal departments, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sales.
Must Have
- Lead, motivate, and develop the commercial team, promoting a culture of high performance and collaboration.
- Establish clear objectives and provide coaching to achieve individual and collective goals.
- Define variable compensation schemes and incentives to recognize performance.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue, market share, and relational NPS.
- Develop market penetration strategies based on trends and behaviors.
- Collaborate with internal areas (Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution.
- Strengthen relationships with current clients and establish new strategic relationships.
- Identify and qualify business opportunities in the segment.
- Create compelling value propositions and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Supervise strategic account management, ensuring retention and expansion.
- Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, closing, and after-sales.
- Monitor key indicators (portfolio, visits, reports, account plans).
- Analyze customer needs to adjust strategies and ensure agreed service levels.
- Professional in Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics, with specialization.
- Minimum 15 years leading commercial teams, with knowledge in sales strategies and goal achievement.
- Demonstrated leadership in high-performance teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, results-oriented and informed decision-making.
- Deep knowledge of the information solutions market, data analysis, and platforms.
