The Head of Supply Chain, Planning & Inventory, and Returns will be responsible for building and overseeing mid-to-last-mile logistics, managing planning and inventory levels, and handling returns to ensure a seamless customer experience while optimizing operational costs. Must have:
  • 12+ years experience in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory planning.
  • Strong understanding of mid-to-last-mile logistics operations.
  • Experience with returns management and reverse logistics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with supply chain management software and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The Head of Supply Chain, Planning & Inventory, and Returns will be responsible for building and overseeing mid-to-last-mile logistics, managing planning and inventory levels, and handling returns to ensure a seamless customer experience while optimizing operational costs. This role involves developing and implementing efficient supply chain strategies, forecasting demand, managing inventory, and streamlining the returns process. Success in this position means achieving high operational efficiency, optimizing costs, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and oversee mid-to-last-mile logistics operations.
  • Manage planning and inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability.
  • Oversee the returns process, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and improve service levels.
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory to meet customer needs.
  • Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and other partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and manage returns processing and identify trends to reduce future returns.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • +12 years proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory planning.
  • Strong understanding of mid-to-last-mile logistics operations.
  • Experience with returns management and reverse logistics.
  • Sell, onboard and successfully retain customers for QLS
  • Oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing,
  • Negotiate high-level contracts with carriers, third-party logistics providers, and suppliers to optimize cost and service levels.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership across departments to integrate logistics with company-wide strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with supply chain management software and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
