Autodesk is seeking an Implementation Consultant (PDM/PLM) to design and configure product data management solutions for key customers. This role involves understanding customer needs related to revision control, item master, and BOM structure, then defining and implementing solutions using Autodesk PDM & CAD authoring products. The consultant will collaborate on all project phases, implement solutions for global customers, produce documentation, and build trusted partnerships.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of experience of activities, and tools associated with document and information flow in the Design & Manufacturing industry
  • In depth working knowledge of PDM (Autodesk Vault or similar)
  • Knowledge of company and industry best practices and their rationale
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a multinational ecosystem
  • Excellent English & One Nordic language, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian (both oral and written)
  • Occasional travel will be required
Good to have:
  • Firsthand experience of tools, techniques, and practices for analyzing the purpose and scope of a product, a process, or project regarding cost and benefits
  • Understand and work with CAD authoring tools
  • Exposure to & experience with the Building Product Manufacturer industry
  • Deeper understanding of manufacturing and supply chain related challenges and processes (BOM, ERP)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in architecture, engineering, computer science, or related degree or equivalent experience

Job Details

Position Overview

This role is for an Implementation Consultant (PDM/PLM) - a team player who will work directly with our main Customers to design customized and configured solutions for product data management systems. You will work directly with Customers to understand their needs as they relate to revision control, item master approach, and BOM structure. Based on that understanding, you will define and implement an overall approach that uses PDM & CAD authoring products.

This role is within our Technical Advisory Organization and is a position focused on Data Management solutions and transforming our customers’ business.

We support hybrid or remote working, and you will report to the Senior Manager, Professional Services Consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and colleagues in all phases of PDM projects (from business development, analysis, design to implementation)
  • Implement solutions for global Customers from the Design & Manufacturing business using the capability of applications
  • Produce written documentation of solutions and implementation activities
  • Build trusted partnerships with clients and colleagues

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience of activities, and tools associated with document and information flow in the Design & Manufacturing industry
