Job Summary

As a Technology Product Management Associate Director, you will lead complex projects and provide expert guidance to drive the success of our technology products. You'll play a pivotal role in strategic planning, ensuring products align with market needs and organization goals. This role involves significant responsibility and autonomy in decision-making. Responsibilities include defining product vision, developing roadmaps, championing Agile/SAFe practices, driving PI planning, leading a team, and conducting market research.

Must Have

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap based on market trends, customer feedback, and business priorities.
  • Champion Agile practices across product teams, with a strong emphasis on SAFe principles.
  • Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Drive PI (Program Increment) planning, backlog prioritization, and cross-team coordination.
  • Lead and mentor a small team (5-10 members) of product managers and analysts.
  • Act as a key liaison between technology teams and business units.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product decisions.
  • Champion the use of emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities.
  • Champion an AI-first thinking leading to tangible business value.
  • Own and prioritize the ART backlog.
  • Facilitate PI Planning and System Demos.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and RTEs to ensure alignment.
  • Apply design thinking and lean UX principles.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in product management in technology or SaaS environments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of Agile product development and SAFe implementation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) Certification or equivalent
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification

Qualifications & Skills
