Where and How You’d Work:

Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. That’s why all of our team members work on-site under the same roof. But work-life balance is also important to us, so we offer flexible work schedules to take the stress out of appointments, family obligations and other needs that may pop up.

While every team member has a designated workspace (with an electronic sit-stand desk), our campus was designed to house a variety of unique work and play zones (e.g., quiet library space, coffee bar/lounge areas, recreational game zone, and outside/patio work and break areas).

What You’d Do in This Role:

As the Information Security Engineer, you’ll protect what matters most—our mission and the people we serve. You’ll design, build, and maintain tools and processes that keep our systems and data secure, ensuring the teams behind products like the Financial Peace University can move fast and stay safe. You’ll collaborate across engineering, IT, and leadership to identify risks, strengthen defenses, and empower our team to deliver hope to everyone in every walk of life with confidence and integrity.

  • Hands-on experience with key security tools and technologies (e.g., Zscaler, Palo Alto, WAF, SIEM, etc.)
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a risk-aware mindset and sound judgment in security decision-making
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams including product engineering, Dev Tooling/AWS, and IT

  • Implement and integrate new tools, processes, and automations to enhance security capabilities.
  • Customize and improve existing security tools to make them “company-aware” and aligned with organizational needs.
  • Document key processes and produce meaningful security metrics to inform decisions.

Other Stuff to Know:

We’re looking for people who are passionate about our mission. This isn’t just a J-O-B. We experience resistance every day because what we believe is absolutely countercultural. We actually hate debt. We actually cut up our credit cards . . . like, for real. Some of us are still fighting our way out of debt, but we aren’t going back. If you don’t know much about the company and our founder, we encourage you to download the Ramsey Network mobile app and consume our content.

If the company sounds like a workplace where you can get excited about Mondays, apply today. We can’t wait to hear from you!
