Job Summary

Onward Search is hiring an Instructional Designer for a remote 12-month contract with a financial services organization in San Antonio, TX. This role involves creating and developing innovative learning experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver engaging, effective, and visually compelling training solutions across various learning modalities, supporting client services.

Must Have

  • Combine creativity with technical expertise to deliver engaging, effective, and visually compelling learning solutions.
  • Partner with project leads and subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze learning needs and design effective training solutions.
  • Develop instructional materials using the ADDIE model, from concept through delivery.
  • Create high-quality digital learning across modalities including ILT, VILT, eLearning, and self-paced programs.
  • Build and edit multimedia content using Articulate Storyline/Rise and Camtasia.
  • Ensure learning products meet organizational standards for quality, branding, and accessibility.
  • Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Camtasia, and the Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Experience applying instructional design principles and adult learning theory to content development.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaborate effectively in both remote and in-person settings.
  • Portfolio is required with application.

Good to Have

  • Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, NovoEd, or graphic and audio design tools.
