Job Summary
Cadence Design Systems Inc. is seeking a motivated Intern: Application Engineering - CFD to join their Multiphysics team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The intern will be trained on CFD simulation tools for various industries, developing innovative solutions for customers, benchmarking product capabilities, and collaborating with sales and product teams. This dynamic role involves supporting technical evaluations, presentations, and assisting R&D in creating competitive technical solutions.
Must Have
- Helping customers to adopt and proliferate our CFD solutions
- Conducting technical presentations, technical training, and product demonstrations
- Supporting technical evaluations and benchmarks
- Help R&D and product engineers develop competitive and creative technical solutions
- Enrollment in a BS in mechanical, aerospace, marine, biomedical, or equivalent
- One to two years to graduate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in learning new technologies
- Open to continued personal development to meet the evolving demands of the EDA industry
Good to Have
- Cadence CFD tools (RealityDC, Fidelity, Pointwise, Beta CAE...) or other CFD mesh generation and solver software with aerospace, automotive, industrial, turbomachinery, or marine applications.
- Contact with Python and Matlab.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and prioritize.
- Team player with a positive attitude, willingness to offer and execute ideas and solutions to enhance processes within an evolving environment

As an Intern: Application Engineering - CFD, you will be part of the Multiphysics team of the System & Design Analysis group. Job Description:
- The Candidate will be trained on CFD simulation tools in the aerospace, automotive, turbomachinery, industrial, marine industries and more.
- Using Cadence’s suite of CFD tools you will help develop creative and innovative solutions for customers, benchmark product capabilities for a wide range of flow regimes and phenomena, advocate for best practices, and collaborate with members of the sales and product teams.
Key responsibilities in this position are to:
- Helping customers to adopt and proliferate our CFD solutions
- Conducting technical presentations, technical training, and product demonstrations, including development of customized presentations
- Supporting technical evaluations and benchmarks
- Help R&D and product engineers develop competitive and creative technical solutions
Minimum Requirements
- Enrollment in a BS in mechanical, aerospace, marine, biomedical, or equivalent
- One to two years to graduate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in learning new technologies
- Open to continued personal development to meet the evolving demands of the EDA industry
