Job Description
Internship of six months
University in France
Last year of Master Degree
Micro-Electronics and/or C.S.
Mission: Testbench and test generation, exploring portable stimuli and AI techniques
The student intern will :
Explore various techniques to generate valid testcases for RTL digital designs, at both IP and System level, on both Xcelium and Protium Cadence platforms
The first perspective to address is by using PSS (Portable Stimuli Standard) with the Perspec tool to model design configuration and test validity, and ensure conformity of scenari between Xcelium and Protium tests.
The second and complementary approach uses new AI techniques, combining LLM (Large Language Models) with debug and formal tools to create valid tests.
The internship will require both electronic and software skills (at least C code), and interest in verification methodologies, however prior knowledge of UVM or PSS is not necessary as it will be learned during the internship.
