Job Description

As an IT Auditor, you will join a dynamic team ensuring the security, efficiency, and compliance of LeoVegas’ technology infrastructure. Your role involves assessing IT systems, processes, and controls to identify risks and areas for improvement. You will participate in various audits, from ITGC assessments to compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you will provide valuable insights that drive informed decision-making, directly impacting risk mitigation and robust IT governance.
Must have:
  • Monitor the effectiveness of compliance, financial and operational controls and recommend/implement improvements.
  • Plan, execute and undertake control reviews across the organisation.
  • Provide written and verbal reports of findings, describing potential risks and suggesting remedial actions.
  • Assist other teams with audit requirements and facilitate external audits.
  • Support and coordinate risk assessment and risk management processes, reporting on risks and mitigating actions.
  • Participate in and consult on business projects requiring control advisory input.
  • Assist with the development and periodic review of policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • Support the organisation in its efforts to remain in compliance with applicable laws, standards and regulations.
  • Update and extend processes as necessary to accommodate business needs.
  • Drive for continual improvement in all processes and standards.
  • Big 4 trained and holder of a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIA).
  • Prior experience in a similar role in the betting and gaming industry.
  • A strong interest in testing control design, implementation and operating effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Highly numerate and analytical.
  • Project management skills.
Good to have:
  • Prior experience within an online gaming operator.
  • Some prior SOX experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an IT Auditor, you will be joining a dynamic and skilled team dedicated to ensuring the security, efficiency, and compliance of LeoVegas’ technology infrastructure. Your role is critical in assessing and evaluating IT systems, processes, and controls to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement. You will participate in various audits, from ITGC assessments to compliance reviews, and play an integral part in ensuring the Group adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, including IT, information security and technical compliance teams, and senior management, to provide valuable insights that drive informed decision-decision-making. The projects you engage in will directly impact the Group’s ability to mitigate risks and maintain robust IT governance. With the ever-evolving nature of technology, this role offers unique opportunities to stay ahead of emerging trends while making a meaningful impact on the company's long-term success.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Supporting and coordinating the risk assessment and risk management processes across the business, reporting on risks and mitigating actions
  • Participating in and consulting on business projects that require a control advisory input.
  • Assisting with the development and periodic review of policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • Supporting the organisation in its efforts to remain in compliance with applicable laws, standards and regulations.
  • Updating and extending processes as necessary to accommodate business needs.
  • Driving for continual improvement in all processes and standards.

**OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Essential skills:**

  • Big 4 trained and holder of a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIA)
  • Prior experience in a similar role in the betting and gaming industry
