Job Description
As an Internet Marketing Account Strategist specializing in Local SEO, you'll develop and implement effective local SEO strategies for clients. Responsibilities include on-page optimization, Google My Business management, citation building, content creation (collaborating with the content team), performance tracking and reporting (using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console), competitor analysis, and staying updated on industry trends. The role is remote with a provided home office setup and involves close collaboration with internal teams. This is a non-client-facing position.

Who We're Looking For
- Desired Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Journalism, Communications, Information Systems or Statistics
- General Knowledge
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Google My Business and other local listing platforms.
- Experience
- Experience in SEO with a focus on local SEO strategies.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
- Qualities
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
What You'll Do
- Responsibilities
- Local SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement effective local SEO strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images to improve local search visibility.
- Google My Business Management: Set up, optimize, and manage Google My Business listings for clients, ensuring accurate information and regular updates.
- Citation Building: Identify and manage local citation opportunities across relevant directories and platforms to enhance online authority.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to develop localized content that resonates with target audiences and improves search rankings.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of local SEO efforts using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the local market.
- Stay Updated: Keep ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in local SEO.

Compensation
Negotiable, based on experience

Working Hours
We're currently looking for team members who are able to overlap hours with our office on the US East Coast (click the link to view our current time from Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
Asia (Philippines / Indonesia)
3:30 pm - 12 Midnight your local time (3:30 am - noon EDT, or 2:30 am - 11 am EST depending on the time of year). The half-hour break may be taken anytime between 6 pm - 8 pm local time.
