Internship - Industry 4.0 / Industrial IT - M/F

Join a dynamic and human-sized team at Gémenos, France, focused on improving production methods and tools for Industry 4.0, specifically in submarine systems for defense. This internship involves integrating digital technologies and optimizing processes for increased efficiency and adaptability. Key missions include connecting new industrial equipment to the network, deploying production displays, centralizing needs for equipment connection and dashboard display, and creating relevant dashboards using Group digital tools.

Must Have

• Participate in connecting new industrial means to the dedicated network (physical connection + system registration, analysis of protocol and frames, information extraction, sending to database servers).
• Deploy displays in production.
• Centralize needs related to equipment connection and dashboard display.
• Use Group digital tools to create relevant dashboards.
• Bac+4 level internship (mandatory) in IT, IoT, network, and information systems.
• Experience with connected objects (IOT, communication protocols like OPC-UA, Modbus, Wirepas, MQTT).
• Experience with network management (Firewall, DHCP) and IT environments (Linux, Windows).
• Experience with data exploitation (database queries, processing, dashboards).

Good to Have

• Programming skills (JavaScript/TypeScript/Angular, Node-RED, Python).
• A certain level of English for consulting documentation and occasional written/oral exchange.
• Good basics in office tools, possibly VBA.

By joining us in Gémenos, you will integrate a site located between the sea and the Provençal hills, bringing together our digital identity and security activities and our defense activities combining both engineering and production, and fostering a collaborative and friendly work environment.

In this context, your missions are as follows:

• You participate in connecting new industrial means to our dedicated network (physical connection + registration in the system, analysis of the protocol and frames, extraction of information, sending to database servers)
• You are responsible for deploying displays in production
• You are responsible for centralizing needs related to equipment connection and dashboard display
• You use Group digital tools to create relevant dashboards

Your profile

Your priority is to obtain an internship lasting 3 to 6 months at bac+4 level (mandatory) in the field of IT, IoT, network, and information systems.

You have experience in:

• Connected objects (IOT, communication protocols such as OPC-UA, Modbus, Wirepas, MQTT…)
• Network management (Firewall, DHCP…) and IT environments (Linux, Windows…)
• Data exploitation (database queries, processing, dashboards…)

Programming (JavaScript/TypeScript/Angular, Node-RED, Python…), a certain level of English allowing you to consult documentation and possibly exchange in writing and orally occasionally, and good basics in office tools, if possible also basics in VBA, are appreciated.
