Job Summary

Plarium is seeking an open-minded, service-oriented Tech Lead IT Help Desk professional for their team in Herzliya, Israel. This role serves as the technical authority for all Help Desk matters, handling tier-1 tickets and tasks from office employees. Responsibilities include providing hands-on IT support (frontal, remote, and on-call), leading daily Help Desk operations, defining and improving procedures, and serving as an escalation point for complex hardware, software, OS, VPN, and network issues. The role also involves installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment, administering user accounts, and supporting office infrastructure, including gaming consoles and VR equipment.

Must Have

  • Provide hands-on IT support (frontal, remote, on-call)
  • Lead daily Help Desk operations and manage ticket queues
  • Define and improve Help Desk procedures and standards
  • Serve as technical escalation point for complex IT issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and peripherals
  • Administer user accounts in Active Directory, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Okta
  • Support office infrastructure including conference rooms, printers, network
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory and lifecycle
  • Support gaming consoles and VR equipment
  • 6+ years of experience in IT Help Desk / End-User Support
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, Microsoft Office
  • Experience with device management tools (Jamf, Intune, SCCM)
  • Solid hardware troubleshooting skills for workstations and components
  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN, switches, connectivity troubleshooting)

Job Description

We are looking for an open - minded, service - orientated, hardworking professional IT helpdesk person to be part of the IT team in Israel. The employee will be the technical authority for any Helpdesk matter The employee will be handling helpdesk tier - 1 tickets and tasks requested by the office employees

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on IT support (frontal, remote, and on-call) for end users
  • Lead daily Help Desk operations, including ticket queue management, prioritization, and escalations
  • Define, document, and improve Help Desk procedures and standards while remaining hands-on
  • Serve as the technical escalation point for complex hardware, software, OS, VPN, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, workstations (including gaming/graphical), and peripherals
  • Administer user accounts and access (Active Directory, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Okta)
  • Support office infrastructure: conference rooms, printers, switches, and network connectivity
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory and lifecycle management
  • Support gaming consoles and VR equipment

What we expect

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in IT Help Desk / End-User Support
  • Proven experience leading Help Desk initiatives, projects, or areas of responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of Windows workstation environments and Microsoft Office
  • Experience supporting macOS environments
  • Hands-on experience with device management tools (Jamf, Intune and/or SCCM)
  • Solid hardware troubleshooting experience (workstations, components, peripherals)
  • Experience providing remote support
  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN, switches, connectivity troubleshooting)
  • Experience managing users and permissions in Active Directory
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet)
