Job Summary
Unilever Food Solutions is seeking a Trade Marketing Assistant Intern to work with iconic brands like Knorr, Amora, and Maïzena in the out-of-home catering sector. This role is for someone passionate about marketing and motivated to learn the ropes within a supportive and dynamic team. The main missions include creating marketing tools for sales and distributors, assisting with trade operations, conducting competitive and tariff analysis, monitoring performance via Power BI, and managing the webshop. This 6-month internship, starting in early January 2026, is based in Rueil-Malmaison, France, and is ideal for a Master 2 student with at least 6 months of marketing experience, who is organized, analytical, creative, autonomous, proficient in Office Pack, and fluent in English.
Must Have
- Create marketing sales support tools (sales arguments, flyers for the sales force).
- Create marketing tools for all distributor supports (banners, inserts, emailing).
- Assist in managing trade operations for brands (from agency brief to warehouse implementation).
- Perform competitive intelligence and tariff analysis.
- Conduct monthly performance analysis of top 4 brands (via Power BI).
- Analyze, monitor, and plan actions on distributor share of voice to optimize investments.
- Analyze and monitor the DN of innovations in the region (via Power BI).
- Manage article and technical sheet updates for the webshop.
- Monitor webshop performance.
- Support the sales force on webshop-related topics.
- Business School background (Master 2 student, gap year, or end-of-study internship).
- Ideally, a first experience of at least 6 months in Marketing.
- Organized, rigorous, with sharp critical thinking, and good communication skills.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, creative, proactive, and proposal-driven.
- Autonomous while enjoying teamwork.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- English proficiency.
Good to Have
- Culinary sensitivity or curiosity.
- Ability to manage marketing projects (360 activation, support development).
- Experience in content production (pre/post-prod follow-up with agencies).

At UFS, our products are sold via all traditional RHF distribution networks, namely delivered distribution (TransGourmet, Pomona, Pro à Pro, Gedal..) and Cash & Carry (Metro, Promocash…).
As a Trade Marketing Assistant, your main missions will be:
TRADE MARKETING MISSION:
- Creation of marketing sales support tools (adaptation of sales arguments, flyers for the sales force…)
- Creation of marketing tools for all distributor supports (banners, inserts, emailing…)
- Assistance in managing trade operations for brands (from agency brief to warehouse implementation)
ANALYSIS:
- Competitive intelligence and tariff analysis
- Monthly performance analysis of the TOP 4 brands (via Power BI)
- Analysis, monitoring, and action plan on distributor share of voice to optimize our investments
- Analysis and monitoring of the DN of our innovations in the region (via Power BI)
WEBSHOP:
- Management of article and technical sheet updates
- Performance monitoring
- Support for the sales force on the subject
During your 6-month internship, you will have the opportunity to develop many skills:
- Knowledge in Trade marketing management of a brand and its specificities
- Knowledge of the Food Service market and its main players
- Agility, proactivity, and autonomy
- Rigor and prioritization
THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
From a Business School background, you are a Master 2 student, in a gap year or end-of-study internship, and ideally have a first experience of at least 6 months in the Marketing field.
- You are organized and rigorous with sharp critical thinking, and have a sense of communication
- You have strong analytical and synthesis skills, are creative, proactive, and proposal-driven,
- You are autonomous while enjoying teamwork
- You have a culinary sensitivity (or curiosity)
- You know how to manage marketing projects (360 activation, support development…), content production (pre/post-prod follow-up with agencies)
- You are comfortable with Office Pack (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- You are proficient in English
