Process engineering is a field between mathematics, physics, and mechanical engineering. As a process engineer, you will handle various substances and products, preparing raw materials using chemical, physical, and biological processes to create daily necessities. At our Heilbronn plant, we produce Knorr soups, sauces, salad dressings, and Mondamin starches. You will develop and commission production facilities, perform error analyses, and optimize manufacturing processes, focusing on effectiveness and environmental protection. Your tasks include working in various departments like production and development, gaining insights into the plant's processes and adjacent areas, conducting experiments, and evaluating technical data.

Dual Students (m/f/d) Process Engineering
OBJECTIVE
Process engineering is located in the field between mathematics, physics, and mechanical engineering. As a process engineer, you handle a wide variety of substances and products. You process raw materials using chemical, physical, and biological methods. This is how raw materials are turned into products for daily needs. In our Heilbronn plant, we primarily produce delicious Knorr soups, sauces, or salad dressings from the dry segments, as well as Mondamin starches for retail, wholesale, social customers (schools, daycare centers), or chain customers (Subway, IKEA).
As part of your degree program, you will also develop and commission the corresponding production facilities. Error analyses are also part of the job to optimize manufacturing processes. The biggest challenge: producing a product as effectively and environmentally friendly as possible.

WHAT YOUR TASKS WILL BE
- Assignments in various departments with exciting projects (e.g., Production, Development)
- A comprehensive view of our plant and our processes and facilities, as well as into
- adjacent areas (e.g., Quality Assurance, Environmental Technology, and
- Automation)
- Conducting test series and evaluating technical data
- Insights into the work and organization of a food manufacturer
