Research Executive

The Research Executive in Beauty and Wellbeing's Science & Technology (S&T-Physical and Chemical Science-PCS) team will deliver breakthrough differentiated and superior technologies, focusing on advanced materials, substrate science, and digital tools like computational chemistry. The role involves building multi-year innovation roadmaps and impactful claims by integrating insights from substrate-material-product dynamics and computational chemistry. Key responsibilities include developing in vitro capabilities, driving experimental design, applying cheminformatics, building IP funnels, and effective scientific reporting.

Must Have

• Expertise in organic or organo-metallic chemistry

The role of the Science and Technology (S&T-Physical and Chemical Science-PCS) is to deliver breakthrough “Differentiated & Superior Technologies” to meet above B&W goals, in key markets and with power brands.

S&T-PCS team is employing Advance materials, Substrate Science and Digital to deliver Beautiful, Noticeable, Appearance Benefits to Skin & Hair. Teams focus is to deliver faster and cost-effective Innovations through Advanced Material Pillar using “Computational chemistry”.

The purpose is to build multiyear innovation roadmap & impactful claims by combining insights driven by (a) Substrate – Material - Product dynamics (b) Computational chemistry. To meet our purpose, we need candidate with expertise in organic or organo-metallic chemistry. The candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to learning new digital capabilities, work on their own initiative and a desire to continually develop scientific skills.

Main Accountabilities

• Develop In vitro capabilities & Technology pipeline to deliver consumer benefit through Sustainable materials & mechanistic insights
• Drive Design of Experiments to strengthen expertise area through proof of science.
• Build, learn and apply skills in cheminformatics skill to led technology funnel.
• Build IP funnel for differentiated & exclusive consumer benefits
