IT Engineering Team Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Engineering Team Lead to manage and guide a team of engineers in delivering technical solutions that support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in system administration, networking, and automation, combined with leadership experience and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of IT engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage multiple IT projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Work closely with external vendors.
• Oversee infrastructure automation.
• Support Active Directory, Office365, and enterprise storage solutions
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes infrastructure and automation frameworks (Crossplane, Spectrocloud, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on technical and business goals.

Required Skills & Experience

• Leadership: At least 2 years of experience in a management or Team Lead role.
• Project Management: Proven track record in IT project management, handling diverse projects of varying complexities.
• Vendor Management: Experience working with external vendors and procurement processes.
• Technical Expertise:
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Strong networking knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, CloudStack).
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Language: Intermediate or higher English proficiency (oral and written).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Active Directory.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, CloudStack, OpenStack).
• Knowledge of Ctera, VDI, and load-balancing solutions.
• Understanding of API design and best practices.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of Crossplane, Spectrocloud for infrastructure management.
