Job Description

We are seeking an IT Project Manager with expertise in infrastructure, endpoint, and real estate projects to join our team in Mexico City. This hybrid role requires working at least three days a week in the office. You will manage multiple technology projects in parallel, working with various stakeholders and sponsors. Key responsibilities include understanding requirements, managing project milestones, identifying risks, facilitating problem resolution, and ensuring methodology compliance.
Must have:
  • Understand the requirements of new assignments by ensuring that assumptions are challenged, technical proposals are tested and business requirements validated.
  • Manage projects including determining milestones, holding team members accountable, identifying risks, facilitating problem resolution, and managing resource and budget forecasts.
  • Ensure that significant problems are identified at the earliest opportunity and that solutions are identified and implemented.
  • Manage lifecycle and operational aspects of projects to include resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Prepare status reports and interface with stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution are aligned with defined objectives.
  • Ensure methodology compliance, auditing and tracking of ongoing projects using agreed tools.
  • Recommend corrective actions on projects or seek guidance for corrective actions if required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 1 - 2 years of project management experience with a record of accomplishment leading Technology Infrastructure projects.
  • Self-starter and self-directed to plan and execute Infrastructure projects.
  • Motivated, productive professional individuals, who work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced level of English is essential.
  • Experience with both Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with project financials.

Job Details

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As an IT Project Manager at Marsh, you will have with expertise in a wide variety of infrastructure, endpoint, and real estate projects. You will work on several projects across technology in parallel with different stakeholders and sponsors.

We will count on you to:

  • Understand the requirements of new assignments by ensuring that assumptions are challenged, technical proposals are tested and business requirements validated with a view to obtaining the best result for the company as a whole
  • Manage projects including determining milestones, holding team members accountable for assigned responsibilities, identifying risks, facilitating problem resolution with clients and internal stakeholders and managing resource and budget forecasts
  • Ensure that significant problems are identified at the earliest opportunity and that solutions are identified and implemented in line with the change control process or escalated as appropriate
  • Manage lifecycle and operational aspects of projects to include resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions and dependencies
  • Prepare status reports and interface with stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution are aligned with defined objectives
  • Ensure methodology compliance, auditing and tracking of ongoing projects; using the agreed tools at regular intervals to ensure projects are on course and follows the approved methodology.
  • Recommend corrective actions on projects or seek guidance for corrective actions if required.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • 1 - 2 years of project management experience with a record of accomplishment leading Technology Infrastructure projects
  • Self-starter and self-directed to plan and execute Infrastructure projects
  • Motivated, productive professional individuals, who work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced level of English is essential
  • Experience with both Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with project financials
  • Advanced Level of English is a Must
