IT Service Manager - Media Systems
Job Summary
Job Description
You will be responsible for the implementation, operation, and continuous optimization of digital asset management systems (photo, audio, video), editorial systems, and media workflows for our editorial teams. You will ensure high availability and reliability of the systems so that editorial work processes run smoothly. You will work closely with internal departments, IT operations, and external service providers to ensure efficient and stable processes. You will analyze and quickly and reliably resolve technical problems. You will actively contribute to innovation and change processes and help shape the further development of our editorial production infrastructure. You will be responsible for application management and 2nd-level operation of the asset management systems and support the troubleshooting of systems.
Must have:
- Education/studies in media technology or IT
- Experience as administrator with Unix/Windows
- Experienced AWS cloud administrator
- Analytical skills for workflow optimization
- Conceptual thinking and initiative
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very good German and English skills
Good to have:
- Experience with DAM systems (e.g., FotoWare, Mimir)

- du übernimmst die Verantwortung für die Implementierung, den Betrieb und die kontinuierliche Optimierung von digitalen Asset Management-Systemen (Foto, Audio, Video), Redaktionssystemen und Media Workflows für unsere Redaktionen
- du stellst eine hohe Verfügbarkeit und Zuverlässigkeit der Systeme sicher, damit die redaktionellen Arbeitsprozesse reibungslos funktionieren
- du arbeitest eng mit internen Fachabteilungen, dem IT-Betrieb und externen Dienstleistern zusammen, um effiziente und stabile Abläufe zu gewährleisten
- du analysierst technische Probleme und behebst sie schnell und zuverlässig
- du bringst dich aktiv in Innovations- und Veränderungsprozesse ein und gestaltest die Weiterentwicklung unserer redaktionellen Produktions-Infrastruktur mit
- du verantwortest das Applikationsmanagement und den 2nd-Level-Betrieb der Asset Management-Systeme und unterstützt bei der Entstörung von Systemen
Was du mitbringst:
- du besitzt eine Ausbildung / Studium im Bereich Medientechnologie, Informatik oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich und bringst Berufserfahrung aus einer ähnlichen Position mit
- du hast Erfahrung im Umgang mit dem Unix- und Windows-Betriebssystem als Administrator
- du bist ein erfahrener AWS-Cloud-Administrator mit Schwerpunkt auf Betrieb und der Betreuung von Applikationen, fundiertem Verständnis cloudnativer Konzepte und sicherem Umgang mit zentralen AWS-Diensten
- erste Erfahrungen mit DAM-Systemen wie z.B. FotoWare und Mimir sind wünschenswert
- mit deinen analytischen Fähigkeiten und deiner Erfahrung in der Optimierung von Workflows erkennst du Potenziale der Effizienzsteigerung
- konzeptionelles Denkvermögen, ein hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative, Qualitätsbewusstsein und Einsatzbereitschaft zeichnen dich aus
- du überzeugst durch Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit, als auch Kundenorientierung
- du besitzt sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mind. C1)
