Job Summary
Altagram Canada is a video game testing studio seeking a Japanese QA Tester. The role involves playing unreleased games, identifying issues, and writing clear bug reports for developers. Testers will work on a variety of games, from experimental VR to AAA and mobile titles, ensuring they are fun, playable, and polished. The work environment is calm and supportive, with project-based schedules typically Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Must Have
- Native proficiency in Japanese
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Experience with software or video game testing (Mobile, Consoles, PC, and VR)
- Passion and knowledge about video games, willing to play for hours daily
- Curious and creative spirit to find game issues
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and bug databases like JIRA

Job Description
##### YOUR ROLE
When a project becomes available to you, you will be invited to play through the game and make note of any issues you encountered while playing. Our test leads will guide you through the testing process and help you fill out concise bug reports for the game developers. You will test a variety of engaging, unreleased games such as experimental virtual reality games, next-gen AAA games, inspirational indie games, addicting mobile games and much more!
##### Your profile
- Native proficiency in Japanese and full professional proficiency in English.
- Experience with software or video game testing (Mobile, Consoles, PC, and VR).
- Passionate and knowledgeable about video games and willing to play them for hours a day!
- Curious spirit and creativity to break the games and have fun doing it.
- This role requires you to be comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, bug databases (such as JIRA) and playing video games.
